One of our forumers is having trouble running Nomad in Single Player mode on AOC 1.0c, so I thought I would try a couple of games. I was sure that AIs didn't function in Nomad, like in the good old game AOE. But, to my surprise, my two AOC 1.0b games worked...but what about AOC 1.0c?
This recording is an AOC 1.0c Nomad game.
My micro is sloppy, and my poor archers get beat up in a battle against mangonels. But hey, I'm new at this Nomad stuff, and it's fun.
My Hun Ally tributes a lot of resources to me. Was I that bad a team member? I leave it to the viewer. :D
Its weird, when you play with a few AIs there is usually what I call a 'Tributer', where they send mass amounts of resources to you. They always seem to advance slow and dont work on combat, just sending you resources.

I guess that was intended. Over at AOE that's called a slingshot strategy. This strategy is not very reliable, but it can help a player to have a good start and advance fast. I'll go watch the game now, and comment on it after that. :)
Woah, nice game. I had no idea I was this bad, but it seems I really need to work on my skills. :p
The only thing that I found pretty weird was at the beginning of the game, around 25-30 minutes, where you had hardly any wood and didn't take the farmers of the ran out farms to woodcutting (you couldn't replenish the farms at this point anyway with your 164 wood).
Other than that, you played pretty well, at least from what I have seen so far. I haven't seen that many games yet though, so I probably don't have the knowledge needed to define who is good and who is not.

Oh yeah, LittleFreak, what happened with my villies while I was harassing the Persians nearby. That was a less-than-clever tactic I call 'Double-Clicking on the Wrong Unit Instead of Pressing Number Key Assigned to Infantry. ' :(
Do the Huns tribute most often of the AI players? It seems that way to me...
