Version: The Conquerors
Hi, guys. This is my first scenario that I have ever done so plz go lightly. This is a cutscene with Pope Urban II giving a speech at Clermont(condensed speech) and the different leaders of the First Crusade such as Stephen of Blois and Godfrey of Bouillon. I just want criticism in the flow of things, how is the terrain and stuff like that. Thnx and hope you enjoy the cutscene(hopefully). I am creating campaigns on the First Crusade to the Eighth Crusade, hopefully in the future.

Playability: 4
This is basically a fun cutscene and doesn't have any bugs or suffer from lag.

Balance: 5
Reviewing guidelines state that if a scenario was designed in such a way that you're not supposed to die, then it is meant to be different. So a 5

Creativity: 3
There are already a couple of crusader campaigns and this is average with nothing special so it is pretty self explanatory what score you can get.

Map Design: 3
Not bad but not too good either. Lacking terrain mix and elevation

Story/Instructions: 4
Ok this is the best part of the entire cutscene although the amount of time the text is displayed could use some tweaking.

Additional Comments:
An average cutscene with nothing special. Download recommendation: maybe!

This campaign consists of a single cut-scene scenario which provides a brief introduction to some of the events which took place at the very start of the Crusades

PLAYABILITY
The game play consists only of watching the cut scene, however the scenario disappoints even in this scope as glaring glitches come to light. For starters, the cut scene starts at 'The Council of Clermont' but instead of a council like setting we see Count Raymond of Toulouse and his men standing while the dialogue of Pope Urban plays, the author it seems is yet to master the use of map revealers as flags are used to reveal parts of the map, and on one occasion outposts were created to reveal the map. Clearly the author needs to put in some attention to these problems.1

BALANCE
This is a cut scene hence it gets a 5 by default.

CREATIVITY
Little creativity shown here, the dialogues were well written and I liked the author's idea of showcasing every one of the leaders of the crusades preparing for the march to Jerusalem but nothing else which struck me as very creative.2

MAP DESIGN
Map design is average, some effort has been put in to make the locations such as the camps and cities look convincing but there is a vast scope for improvement here.2

STORY/INSTRUCTIONS
The story part consists of a brief introduction to the various leaders of the first Crusade but no genuine effort to build on that theme is visible. The dialogues were well written and I liked the author's idea of showcasing every one of the leaders of the crusades preparing for the march to Jerusalem. Instructions are not required for a cut scene but I think a history section is must for every historically themed scenario. 3

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
I am aware that the review sounds a bit harsh but I have done this for the author's own good so that he puts attention to his designs. The author needs to improve his designing skills further if he/she wants to improve this scenario. A bit of effort can make the difference.
