Battle of the Empires II is a Campaign on which you control the reunited roman empire, and must defeat or ally with other 5 realms, thus becoming the greatest nation in the world.
Playability: Nice playability, you have many enemies to choose from, which is a good thing, and you might end up with an ally or two in the end. Any normal player will have fun in this game. One small tip... i think that you should have a loss condition or more, like losing your King, Mosque or Hero. A 3.
Balance: You are more powerful than your enemies, but they are five! Although not all united against you, you must plan your battlefield tactics carefully if you are to leave the battle victorious. Choosing the difficulty will strongly affect the gameplay. A 3.
Creativity: This map does not have many triggers, homever, many maps should not be rated by the number of triggers, and this just happens to be one of them. There are several creative points in this game. A 3.
Map Design: Good! This map is very well designed, there is eye-candy, and the european regions are well designed. I noticed many changes in the landscape, and the scene is beautiful to look at. This map has nothing to do with Battle of the Empires I, it is much better, the author truly did a great job!
Story/Instructions: Superb! I would give you a 5, but there are almost no in-game instructions! But, appart from that, you have a fantastic story! Another great job!
Final Rating: 3.4
Good(4) Map Design
Recommendations: An average Build & Destroy map. It takes its sweet time to complete, and i recommend it, i assure everyone that it has nothing to do with Battle of the Empires I. It is well designed, well made, and the author obviosly put effort into it.
Hints&Tips: Make in-game Instructions.
Best of Luck in BoE III
Potentially a good game. However having a population of 200, with a limit of 75 seems a bit silly as you can't make transports to get your troops off the island.
