Coeur de Lion There weren't any triggers in this campaign, and it lacked creativity. Nevertheless, it's a start.
Irish_69_Guy hey i havnt played this map yet but the guy before me said there was no triggers u should edit it wit triggers it would be far better and by the way nice title anyway keep tryin its ur first map so yeh have fun make more maps k bye

Playability: 1
Horrible. The first two scenarios were blank maps with two players, where each player owned one hero. The heroes fight for half a minute, then your enemy dies and you win the scenario. The following scenarios are random maps featuring fixed force battles which are either impossible to win or far too easy. I had absolutely no fun at all when I played this campaign, and the fact that there are nine (9) scenarios - all following the same pattern - just rubs more salt into the wound. I tried to pretend to enjoy fighting red france units as a blue briton on a grass 1 field, but I failed.

Balance: 2
The first two scenarios had no balance at all since it's impossible to lose unless you kill yourself intentionally. Another scenario with a fortress random map was completely impossible to beat. It was you and a some teutons against six other players with the same amount of units each. Two of the maps were something close to balanced, but I doubt there was much (if any) thought behind it.

Creativity: 1
Is there any creativity at all? No. Random maps aren't creative. Fighting as a blue briton with longbows against red french throwing axemen isn't creative. The only thing I can think of is the introducing .bmp I extracted from the first scenario with DiGiT's AoKTS utility (the picture doesn't appear in the game since the author never bothered to write any instructions), and the .avi that plays in the end of the 9th scenario. Wonder which .avi I'm referring to? Age2_x1.avi, the one that came with AoC, the one you've viewed possibly a hundred times. Does this motivate anything more than a 1? No. No it doesn't.

Map Design: 2
I'd like to rate it a 1, but since the author at least has taken the effort to hit the "generate random map" button at the creation of almost half the maps, I can't. Random maps deserve a 3 no matter how little work the author put into the map design. But since only half of the maps were random maps (the others were blank), I can only give it a 2.

Story/Instructions: 1
There is absolutely nothing at all. No instructions, no history, no story, no messages, not even any custom tribe names. I don't have a clue why I'm fighting, where I'm fighting, what I'm fighting for, why I play...

Additional Comments:
It is a waste of time to download this.

To the Designer:
I'm not trying to be cheeky, I'm just telling you the truth. It is a waste of time to upload your first stuff to the Blacksmith because it is mostly plain miserable. I've still got the first stuff I made on my hard drive and it is not much better than this, but I would never think of uploading it.

I recommend you to visit the forums on this website to get some inspiration and advice.
