Romeo and Juliet AoKtc Stylee

Author File Description

File Details
Version: The Conquerors
This is an 'AoK cutscene' adaption of Romeo and Juliet. The very quick version, with special effects!

Features:
Epic music soundtrack (thanks to Chris Coutts)
3 Fight scenes
3 Murders
2 Suicides
1 Marrige
1 Super-Saiyan Power-Up Explosion Scene
1 Monkey
Amazing h4x0r 1337 dialouge and special effects!

I made this just for fun :) But it did take a long time. I hope someone else can enjoy it. Uses DiGiT's trigger studio and Beserker_Jerker's tricks.

Inspired by Chris Coutt's flash movie "Tales for the l33t".

Please watch it and give me feedback :)

Playability: 5
Well, how to put it, It was fun and alot more entertaining than the hours I spent in English lesons a few years ago studying the book. Puts a light heart on it.

Balance: 5
I believe that Cut-scenes are automatically awarded.

Creativity: 5
I did find it very creative. There are some very amusing bits added in to make it that much better so here is a lovely 5

Map Design: 4
The City was well designed though it didn't bring anyting V.special in map desgin.

Story/Instructions: 5
As the story is the main thing which this is about it may not be the most accurate of story's and there are massive generalisations. Again the censoring was funny.

Additional Comments: I'm guessing that you didn't expect a review on this or the high score but it did put a smile on my face which I suppose what it set out to do. Wow I'm feeling so generous It must still be Christmas!
saturos_13 I really enjoyed it.Can you tell how you created the 'Twal' and the VDML?

Thanks very much, Ragnar!!!

saturos_13, i guess youve probably found that out by now...

if not, well those units are buried in the game data files, but were never used in the finished game and are not accessible normally throuhg the editor. But there are various ways to get at them.

Check this out:

http://aok.heavengames.com/blacksmith/showfile.php?fileid=5556

or search for 'new units template' and a few utility maps should come up. Basically, these are maps with the 'hidden' units already placed in them, and you can use map-copy to put them in your own scenario etc...
Rangar Dafty, would you mind if I borrowed your Risk Idea? I'm thinking of making one about the Hundred years war and in one of the main scenario of my new Campagin.
Cheers, BTW I didn't know where to contact you as your email is hidden.
