"Braveheart (version II)" is a build and destroy game on a reasonably historical england map.
Its a build and destroy with the player getting a massive eco, large army and its tough to get setup. Its simple enough to move out and destroy the english however, as quickly imping and upgrading your woadies will allow you to massacre all. I enjoyed this base whomp run enough to give it a 2, and it does play itself out smoothly enough.
I received a random trigger win at 10:05 but they were dead anyway. Maybe a random hero got killed somewhere, im not sure.
The players force as alluded to above, has a huge superiority over the enemy and easily crushes them.
Its insufficiently differentiated from a random map deathmatch IMO.
Map Design 2
Its a custom map that is barely better than a random map, but certainly not enough to get a 3\5 in 2002.
Its a good amount of objectives and stuff, not much story though. The author used many of the William Wallace campaign sound clips, but i could barely hear what they said anyway over the immediate fighting.
Final thoughts: Probably not worth playing, unless you hate the english and wished for more out of the William Wallace campaign.
