Ice Candy Map

Author File Description
File Details
Version: The Conquerors 1.0c
A very BIG map with some nice eyecandy and some easy to map copy designs that can be used.

Uses mainly snow and Ice terrain but has some other terrains to halp make the map look better and same buildings for looks. I dont mind if you edit this map but the terrain and elevations WILL make it kinda hard. Not much gameply to it but if you even out the elevation and add some more reources it would be a pretty good lookin scenerio. If you do edit the map though PLZ, PLZ add my name to it SOMEWHERE to show that it was my map you used. Thank you and ENJOY! Also if you are to DL the Map can you plz leave a comment to tell me how you liked it and if it can be of AnY use.

This was an interesting map. An entire map covered in ice, over many hills. The occasional sprinkle of trees and cliffs here and there. It is a good idea. Well done fuzzydude45!

Hello, hello. This is MW reviewing yet another fun and exciting utility for AoK: TC. Fuzzydude has created a map using the Ice World Theme. Very interesting.

Review edited.

In the beginning, the player is treated to a nice battle between "explorers". If you make it out alive, you can gaze upon the frozen throne that is the Ice World. Although I love blood-filled battles, it's a utility. I was go along with the idea of picking a corner of the map where the player cannot see and fencing in villagers with a palisade wall.

Sorry to be so picky on the cliffwork, but some sloppy cliffs remain.

A few stray macaws remain. And the jungle feel is persistent through the uses of "Sea Towers"

The Sea Gate is quite nice, but where does it fit in? And it's not accessible to the player. The unit just goes around it. Try fooling around with "shallows" or use ice to create a mini-bridge.

Nice use of vegetation.

Another suggestion is to show parts of the template that is truly impressive. The larger the map, the more detailed and work is needed. There are several outstanding areas in the map, including the mosque in the snow, forest terrain mixing, and the use of BETA units. Show those off.

I also took a full-map screenshot. Contact me, via forums, and we can discuss how to further improve the landscaping.

It's definitely getting there, mate. Hang in there.
