This is one of two scenarios on which I\'m working. The second is the Korean War. You will likely notice that you will fight for the Confederacy for its independence. If you find bugs, I apologize in advance. Have fun!
This is a B&D campaign.
It is about the war of secession set five hundred years earlier in time. "The confederacy lost, and the Yankees subjugated and humiliated the South. Bitterness remains to this day." Here is your chance to rewrite American history and have General Lee force Abraham Lincoln to give up.
PLAYABILITY: I enjoyed playing the grey against the blue and can recommend to download the war between the states. 3
BALANCE: The balance is average, as you start the first scenarios with an advantage over your opponent and while the Yankees are alone, you have an ally. The balance is improving after the first scenario, which is wanted by the author, as he mentions that you've thrown back the first half-hearted attack from the Yankees. In the second you get less resources and the blue act different in each scenario which adds to the balance. 3
CREATIVITY: Two scenarios start with a cut scene, in one you start in a battle. 3+
MAP DESIGN: The first is too big, uninteresting with oak forest, huge grass areas and desert spots with palm trees which don't fit with the rest. They have some elevations. The fourth is on the same level, fortunately without palm trees as you are marching towards Washington. The second is a creative design with rivers where you have to find your way. 3-
Story/Instruction: The strongest part of the campaign. You got a history section and clear objectives and hints. No need for more in a B&D. 5
