In this scenario, you take command of Hannibal's army in the Battle of Cannes. It's an enjoyable scenario. It had a good map, clear instructions and good history section. What made me deduct a point on playability, was the lag and some bugs which made the scenario easier than the author intended.
I played La Bataille de Cannes on the normal level. I had to reload several times. It was a challenging scenario, but in my opinion it was a little too hard for normal level.
This scenario used some good tricks, for example the extended HP to make the battle last longer.
The sound files used in the scenario brought the scenario to life.
The in-game presentation of the history is a very good thing.
The only thing I missed in the scenario ws a morale system.
Map Design: 5
This map looked bordering on real. Good mixing, realistic planted trees, realistic elavation. I also liked to see that tha map wasn't too much designed for the scenario. I really got the feeling the scenario was made for the map, not vice versa. The only thing I would have liked to see was a little more eye-candy.
Maedhros909 wrote down the instructions for this scenario very clear. Altough the instructions were written in French it still was understandeble (at least for me).
That a simplified version of Hannibal's tale was told in the scneaio was also a good thing.
For those of you who can understand French and like a challenge this is a must download.

Excellent! Contrairement à l'autre qui dit que c'était difficile, j'ai gagné du premier coup. J'adore les méga bastons même si ça rame un peu.
nialo the great
