You ask in your Read Me,
"If you use this in a scenario plse give me credit"
Designers use invisible cliffs in their scenarios for the last six years. Easy to find with search,
Utility ID 5458: Invisible Cliffs by _o0XxXo0_ posted 04/18/00
The above utility is a template with different invisible cliff shapes done with map copy. It is a glitch in the editor, you cannot map copy cliffs, they become invisible, but you can map copy invisible cliffs.
Under the description, you find a comment by Nakul, a search in the Scenario Design forum of AoKH brings you to the topic,
New Trick? Find out if it is..., by Nakul, posted 03-24-00, quote,
"Invisible Cliff Barriers: Made by placing cliffs, going to the units menu, and then rotating them until they become invisible."
You should give credit to Nakul. You could mention the utility by _o0XxXo0_ and explain why you prefer invisible cliff barriers by rotating instead of map copying. A reason would be that you could place them more accurately. Recommend the invisible barriers for scenarios where they should be permanent as all terrain you cannot remove cliffs in game. For temporary barriers, better to place rocks or to use looping task object triggers. Give examples for barriers on land and sea, for the later have a look at Jerkermania, part of 'Pretty Town Contest 2004' or at 'The Pirate Outcast'. Visualize the rotating process for a better understanding. Place a cliff and map copy while rotating to the left or right. You will find that a cliff has a maximum of four frames, the fourth being the original but invisible. Your in game statement, "Fist you can only delete invisible cliff by placing cliffs over them" is false. By doing that, you simply put a terrain above another; you have to delete the cliffs afterwards. However, it is tedious to follow an invisible cliff shape placing new cliffs over them. To delete invisible cliffs you can also map copy buildings above the invisible cliffs and remove them, the invisible cliff deletes with it. A better way to delete invisible cliffs is to map copy terrain above it, just map copy grass or dirt or leaves, whatever you have around those cliffs and the area is walk-able again.

I discovered this trick while designing the original ADOC in spring 2003, when I started to design real maps, not only 10-minute-crap maps.
This is old. Sorry Jeremy, but I wont download
I dont want to be mean, but search for something like what you're adding before really sending it in |

This is a valuable utility; it is the first, the only utility to explain invisible cliffs by rotating in the editor. We have many new inscriptions, so I doubt almost everybody knows. |
