"Struggle of the Forest People" is a campaign based around a character "Incarnation" who is to help the Forest People fight against a not very inventive name for an enemy, "An Empire".

Playability: The playability of the struggle of the forest people is fair. It could do with more optional objectives and a few more things to do before the playability can rise to a higher score. To improve the playability perhaps add more enemies around the map not just in the forts, ambushes would be a good thing to include in this campaign.

Balance: The balance of this campaign contains a little of the two extremes as I like to call them. This basically means that some parts of this campaign are hard and the others are very easy. The forts were quite a challenge to defeat even with the help of an ally giving you forces in the game. To improve the balance of the game, you could reduce the number of units the blue player has and the amount of units you get given in some points.

Creativity: The creativity of Struggle of the Forest People is mediocre. It features forts, defending and having to run from an enemy attack and gaining units from allies. Nothing spectacular then, but reasonable.

Map Design: The map design was probably the best feature of this authors work. The map design was beautiful and good to look at. It is better than a random map by far but doesn't have the extra touches or the wow factor of the next mark up. The map design could be improved by taking the design further with more gaia, and more personalised touches to spice it up and add variety to some areas.

Story/Instructions: The story was a little weak, the opening screen contained very little which was a shame. The hints were ok but the lack of a bitmap seemed a shame. In game the instructions were usually small lines and there was very little if any long dialogue. To increase the stories score and instructions you need to add more dialogue relevant as to why you are fighting and whom you are fighting.

Overall: The best feature of this campaign was the map design, it could do with a better introduction screen so as not to put off the player from continuing on with the campaign.
