AOK Unit data

Author File Description

File Details
Version: The Conquerors
This data is for easy importing into a spreadsheet or database for research purposes. Right now it only contains properties shared by all units, so none of GeniEd's "unit parts" for those of you that know what that means.

The data was extracted from empires2_x1.dat.

I might update it later to include more data, and possibly unit parts also.

Exactly what is this?
I get a lot of text files, and I have no idea of what to do with them
Could you explain, please?

It's just a bunch of data dumps largely for my own purposes. I just figured I'd release them so that nobody would have to redo my work should they need it.
AwesomeTrinity How do you make sense of the data bro?
lunascii To make sense of it, first understand this is a very rudimentary table, stored as a text file. The top line is the column headings, which have some characteristics about each UID which I assume is a unit. , it has a text string code associated with it too and all those numbers refer to it's properties. To actually read the file. I would write a php script which could create a class called Units and it would have the attributes with names the same as the column headers. Your script would read the text file and at each break it would switch to the next attribute. I would create an object for each unit and then it could display it on a table.

Or you could write a simpler program that just outputs a table but would have to be preprogrammed with how many columns and rows you are outputting. I don't have time to do this right now but just thought I could point out how to process the data to be readable.
