Greetings All.

This is my entry to the AoKH CSC.

Please view the readme file for installation instructions.
Generally all you should have to do is unzip all files to the root AoK folder.

Settings:
Please make sure the following settings are in place for full enjoyment of the scenario.

Speed - Normal (Very Important)
Size - 1024 x 768
Volume Sound - 100%
Music - 0%
Difficulty - Any


I hope you enjoy the cut-scene as much as I did making it.

Great cut-scene, I hope to see a sequence. :)

Good read me with credits, under the --+- Acknowledgements -+--, also in the victory message you wrote,

"Beserker Jerker - Immobile Units AI GOLD".

Immobile Units AI GOLD is by Zanzard Lothar.

"Phillip Dunscombe - The POREX villager trick. (Neat Trick's I - Utility)".

The invisible villager by means of POREX is from Enrique Orduno (New units and new objects template v.1.1). Phillip Dunscmbe used the villager to create the illusion of a villager swimming, which I did not see in your scenario, did I miss something?

Tanneur99 - About the acknowledgements:
Thanks. Yes I noticed I had the wrong name for the AI file just after I had submitted it
:( and am just submitting a new update to fix this.

POREX villager trick. In Neat Trick's I (please correct me if I'm wrong) The first thing that happens, is a villager goes to a POREX mine, and then is tasked to a gate which subsequently opens.
I used this to give the illusion of the gate opening before the rider passed through.(If only for a short period of time).
I used this idea from the utility not the swimming trick. If Enrique Orduno discovered this particular use, then I'll happlily add him to the acknowledgements.

Also. I like reading the readme, and am sometimes dissapointed by short files, without much information. So I thought, I'd make a nice one myself.

EDIT: The file has been updated to fix incorrect acknowledgment information as well as slight adjustment of timing (+1 here -1 there) and the ending text has been adjusted so that it is now centralised.

For those who have already downloaded. Unless you wish to see these changes, there is no need to re-download. Thanks.

MeGaIdIoT Great cutscene. BTW, when you submit a campaign the AI is packaged in, so no need to put it in the download.

Thanks for updating VonCorgath.

I did not see the 'open gate trick' in game when I viewed your file for approval, even though it was one of the few, which kept me interested until the victory signal. :) I was also busy reading the text. Your acknowledgement is correct with regard to an open gate hold by an invisible villager. I was confused because for me 'The POREX villager trick' is simply to show a villager becoming invisible mining POREX.

With regard to read me, I have a folder with good ones. I believe Lord_Fadawah also collects them.


MeGaIdIoT, the AI is not packed in the campaign. AI files save in the .SCX file; a .CPX file brings .SCX files into an intended sequence. BTW, also the BMP saves in the .SCX file.

But I guess I probably could have explained that better. Hopefully everone now knows what I was meaning
Hmm good idea keeping a collection, might just do that :)
