The Conquerors 1.0c |
The Last Samurai Castle
The greatest discovery of all time has been made by a scientist called Virrus Newstone, on the Isles of Paradise. He assembles the people to test his creation. One man is summoned to do it. His name is Sam Hawkins
This is the story, of how two young men, fighting for two different causes, can become friends, from being archenemies, and how hostile tribes can become closest allies
This is all fictional.
Its actually based on a comic I'm making. Though in swedish.
This is the introdution for a full scale campaign, coming sometime in the future. As you know, I have lots of projects, so I dont promise anything
But take a look, and download
I Hope you will all enjoy!
Thanks to:
Mashek - For starting this superb competition
Zanzard Lothar - For making Advanced Immobile Units Ai, wich I used for this cut-scene
sounddogs.com - For many soundfiles
Magic Amazon - For the evil laugh sound
My brother and friends - For support when making the comic, leading to this
Ensemble Studios - For a sound, from AoK
Thanks to you all!
And to you who download! |

Hard work, simply ;)
This didn't take all too long actually. Like two weeks. A little more when I thought about making 6 chapters, but I didn't have time, so I removed triggers and so til I was back at the end of chapter 1.
(I was in the beginning of Chapter 2, if you wonder) |

Nice cut-scene, Lord Basse, I really enjoyed it. And it was pretty funny! Especially the evil laugh, that was great :)
Looking forward to the rest of the story :D |

Funny, wonder where the time travel took them.
For a moment, I thought the name Sam Hawkins referred to books of a German author, but the name was Sam Hawkens, wenn ich mich nicht irre.

Good cut-scene Basse. Interesting storyline and some well conveyed map design, if only the quality fluctutated a bit in some areas. Good job, I look forward to any sequel you may be making. This game reminds me of a RPG where the people on a space ship try a teleportation never before tried and it kills everyone but a few people who go back in time to mediaeval France.
"wenn ich mich nicht irre."
The only thing I caught from that Tanneur, was Ich being I and Nicht being hate, no or not, can't remember, or I'm wrong completely. :p[Edited on 08/07/06 @ 05:31 PM]

i think that Ich - I, Mich - me (of some sort), nicht - not.
I've learn't German for a very little time...
Oh teh scen... that was quite good. Usually, when people try to make a 2000 year scen with TC, it looks like crap. But I like, I like.[Edited on 08/03/06 @ 02:02 AM]

I used "...wenn ich mich nicht irre" as closing of my statement as this Sam Hawkens did in the books, which means, "...if I am not mistaken".
You cannot translate word by word, but 'nicht' means not.

I'm happy that you guys like it :D
Thanks for all your comments. If anyone has got time, could you give me a review? I'd like to see what it will get, even if it's in the ACSC.
So if you have some spare time, I'd love to see a review :) |

Nobody has time to give reviews these days. I see people ask for reviews all time but very rarely get what they asked for. I have been so desprate for a review for The Seige of Belgium that I asked for a review on senerio design by Tanneur 99. You should ask for a review from him aswell. But then again, he has been away. |
