The Battle of Kosovo, 1389.
The Serbs under Tzar Stefan Uros Dusan had control of Serbia, Macedonia and most of Greece, this was there golden age. Stefan had plans to hold off the invading Turks, which he would of done successfully, and conquer the Byzantine capital, Constantinople, he was also being offered, an army, by the Pope, to crusade against the Turks and Byzantines.
But unfortunately he died in 1355, where he was succeeded by his young son,Uros, who did not know how to hold together his father's large empire. At the time Serbia was under threat of a Turkish invasion.
Young Uros was killed in 1371 and Vukasin Mrnjacevic claimed the throne. Once the Ottomans had control of Bulgaria, it became a vassal state of the Turks, which meant that they had to do military service in the Ottoman army.
The Ottomans marched deeper into Serbian territory where they had control of the Maritsa Valley. King Vukasin Mrnjacevic gathered his troops of 70 000 men, he marched toward the Turks who suprised attacked them and massacred the Serbs, including Vukasin himself. These events left Lazar Hrebeljanovic to be crowned King.
Under Murad I, the Turks marched deeper into Serbia, and reached one of the most importnant crossroads in the Balkan Peninsula, 'Kosovo', there they met Lazar's army and there was fought one of the most important battles of Serbian history...

"gauge of how much fun you had playing this particular scenario."
It seemed to get better the more times I watched it, I suggest watching it several times ;)
EDIT: "Automaticaly gets a 5"
I like the creativeness in parts like where the Sultan gets killed, and the final part where they get surrounded and the way you presented the fact that they think they've been deserted etc.
Map Design: 4
Could have had more variety I think... But it was well spread out and was used for its purpose
Very interesting story, like I said, I never heard of this battle before, maybe you told too much of the story, but that can't really be a bad thing ;)
Over all, well done, and good luck in the comp.! :)
