Playability: The game's playability factor is pretty good. I got killed a number of times because I chose the wrong tactic. And the author definitely keeps the player on their toes the whole time.
Balance: Above-average balance in the game, since it was well researched and the author did put time into keeping the story consistent with the game.
Creativity: The elements of the story which weren't based on historical factors were interesting enough. Then again who would have known exactly what happened back in that period so of course there would have to be some creative factors involved.
Map Design: This area of the game could have used some eye candy ... although there was the odd path and grass here and there, there were large areas of grass which were just left. The cliffs representing the Pyrenees were pretty good.
But with each scenario there is a learning process involved and I have no doubt the author will use more eye candy next time.
Story/Instructions: The story was originally in Spanish, and this version tranlsated into English. Although there were some grammatical errors from the translations, the overall instructions were easy to follow. In addition the story was well researched and presented.
I hope this author comes back with some more scenarios.
