Oh boy, what a massacre. Good that I got a lot of tributes...
But the Castles are surrounded by cliffs, so I can't move them towards the fortress.
Another point of thought is that I won after nearly all enemy units died, but I didn't reach the inside of the fortress.
Maybe add a Siege Workshop to the map, so there is a possibility of tearing down those walls of Accursed Towers? What do you think, gtrmanstan? |

Playability: 3
The premise of this scenario is pretty simple - create troops, destroy troops and towers on the hill over *there*. This is moderately entertaining, and I didn't run into bugs, as far as I'm aware.
Balance: 2
I knocked off marks here because there is no chance of defeat, the tower wall is too strong to give you a realistic chance of breaking it down and the cataphracts are extremely easy to defeat as you have unlimited halberdiers,
Creativity: 3
The scenario is not especially creative, but it isn't especially dull either. The design of the fortress leaves a lot to be desired though, and I checked triggers and there doesn't seem to be anything varying on difficulty level, which is sort of disappointing.
Map Design: 3
I gave the map a 3 because it serves its purpose, without being particularly attractive or having much you wouldn't find on a random map. Possibly because of the generic setting, and I wouldn't say map design is that important to this scenario. The cliffs at the side are somewhat misleading, as they don't clearly join up, so I bet every player will make a longbowman to see if he can get through those cliffs.
Story/Instructions: 3-
The instructions are basic and too the point; no more is required.
Additional Comments:
If you feel like throwing lots of troops at something and winning and not taking too long over it - this is for you.
Otherwise, I'd mostly like to see:
- a more interesting fort
- a greater challenge [Edited on 12/05/06 @ 10:08 PM]

I'm not sure what your update included but I didn't have siege...I played for a while but lost interest as I knew I would certainly win...if you can call losing soooo many a win... |

You could always stick a timer or something like that on it. Or some trigger based on kill ratios. It's just, uh, somewhat boring. You throw stuff at a wall, and when you've thrown enough mud... |

There was no update, the update marks at the right of the submission date: "11/15/06", which is blank here. The .zip contains the first download, I mailed gtrmanstan in December about the error, but I believe he left AoKH. |
