"The Crossknights Attack" is a build and destroy scenario, and is essentially a remake of Saladin2 from the ES campaign.
Its about as playable as any build and destroy scenario i suppose. There really wasnt much to differentiate it from a random map playthrough. The enemy is slow to begin attacking, so its not particularly fast paced.
Its reasonable, the enemy starts off stronger and will give the player a difficult opposition with its fully upgraded longbows while you start in castle age, but it is little more than a random map enemy.
I dont see it as creative to remake the scenario like this. There doesnt seem to be much of a spin or creative twists from the author added in.
Map Design 2
Random map quality with largish patches of undetailed ground.
The objectives and hints are solid enough, and the ingame dialogue fills you in fairly well as to what to do.
Final Thoughts: If your in the mood to play some ES B&D or want to replay a mission like Saladin2 from their campaign, this may be worth a play. Its not particularly interesting otherwise.
