This is one of those games where both sides have good players, and both sides have....well, you will get the picture. If you are a rookie player in a DM game and you get overwhelmed, you need to COMMUNICATE. When I (blue, Spanish) attacked Orange (Goth), his partner Grey (Japanese) could have been a big help. On the other hand, while I was attacking Orange, my partner Green (Huns) totally missplayed his civ. Purple (Mongols) did a good job of buying time and protecting Orange, but Grey was trapped by then and subsequently reigned. Yellow (Aztec) had no clue as to how to play them and if Teal (Saracen) had hit him with a good camel/cav archer rush, he would have been toast. As it was, my team was able to pull it out, mostly because yellow and green managed to hang in and not quit, and our ability to get trade going. Once we got map control, it was over.
