This demo/teaser campaign comprises of a single scenario dealing with the first Spanish Expedition to the Yucatan Peninsula. I've used information from Wikipedia in an effort to make the Scenario as historically accurate as possible, please read the History section for more info.
The Scenario is to be played out in 3 acts
ACT I deals with the acutal commissioning of the expedition and landing on the Yucatan
ACT II is a cut-scene depicting the Mayan Offensive, sudden attack on the Spanish.
ACT III is an escape scenario where in survivors of ACT II must make it back to thier ships.
A full fledged campaign covering further events will soon follow.
This is my first submission so kidly give me some tips on where to improve...

Well, I must admit I was rather impressed when playing this one-scenario campaign. I didn't expect such quality, and I can see you have talent.
However, your scenario has some significant flaws that need to be improved on in order to create a better work.
Dialogues are a bit messy, and sometimes you can't read them because they scroll too fast, even at normal speed. Your spelling is good, though.
Terrain needs some more work. You did a good job here, but you should try to mix some more terrain to create a better look. For example in Cuba. The city would look way more beautiful if you mix the different types of road instead of using only Road 1. Mix different types of trees to achieve a less monotonous feel in the jungle, maybe jungle trees mixed together with bamboo, since it would be unrealistic to place oaks in the middle of the jungle ;). You must add some elevation as well, since your scenario lacks any.
Balance is your most important flaw. There's no challenge at all (Maybe because it's a demo), but it would have been nice if in Act III you have to fight your way out of the jungle with steel and gunpowder, running away from mayan pursuers who would sacrifice you to their gods in case they capture you ;). Pirates are worthless, unless you willingly seek and fight them all you cannot lose against them.
I know your scenario includes that "Run for your life" element, but it was too easy.
In a word: Harder.
But, well, this is a demo, so it's meant to be short and concise, isn't it?
Well, that is it, I guess. You really have talent, and I'm looking forward to the completion of this campaign. You know your stuff around, and I can bet that you have taken your time to read at the Scenario Design Forum and improve your skills.

Which reminds me, if would like to include some spanish dialogue (even sound dialogue), I'll gladly help.

Thanx for your valuable inputs. I'll look into it at the earliest. However, I'd also like to make the following clear:
1. This whole scn was supposed to be a cut-scene... but then It would be wayy too boring for the person playing it. So I put in a few "playable" acts.
2. This scenario is history-based (as much as possible from my side). So there is not much of combat and fighting (only 20 men landed with Corodoba and they camped quite close to the shore meaning no runnin thru endless jungles fighting wave after wave of savage mayans).
I'll keep in mind the map design suggestions though... thanx a lot for that.
