~The Storming of the Bastille~
This is a game that I made when I first learned how to use triggers. Actually more like the second one, but the first, well, maybe I will finish it one day. This scenario contains: A whopping 13 triggers! Probably a discusting looking town! But a very eye appeasing forest. Or at least the part you are supposed to see of the forest looks nice!
Well, if I haven't already scared you away from this file, it is based on a true part of history that all downloaders from France will understand. It is based on the destruction of the Bastille. For the people of France, the Bastille prison was the symbol of the royal power, thought to have many political prisoners inside their walls. After hours of combat and many deaths, the French resistence freed 4 forgers, a murder suspect and 2 noblemen (imprisoned for immoral behavior). In relation to the population, there were far more aristocrats imprisoned than peasants. Later they decapitated King Louis XVI and his wife Marie Antoinette of Austria with a guillotine.
If you wish to know more about the siege and the aftermath, go onto Wikipedia and look for the French Revolution. That place will provide you with great information.
If you wish to give de-constructive criticizm, it makes no difference to me. I know it is not a good game, but the reason I do submitt it is because it's a fun, challenging, little game to play. The Renessance DAT file by Oliver is needed also.
~UPDATE~
Fixed a few spelling errors and changed a few things in the game.
Enjoy,

In the aftermath you stated yourself that "it probably won't get a very high score". I beg to differ, as I played this and thoroughly enjoyed it. While it is rather short, I spent a good ten minutes playing this, and I'm glad I chose to.
Playability: 4
The scenario was a joy to behold. It begins simply by attacking a small force with 400 peasants, and ends when you gain control of an army yourself. The huge waste of villagers reflects what actually happened on the storming of the Bastille, where 98 revolutionaries died compared to the 10 or so guards, mostly executed by the mob afterwards.
However, the playability is limited by how very short the scenario is.
Balance: 3
The map is intelligently balanced to make sure the player searches for the gaia soldiers. By using villagers, which do not auto-attack, the player is forced to flee from all except lone infantry, which can be surrounded and killed. The actual events are reflected in this, as the mob first broke into the arsenal and were joined by deserting guards. However, I was able to complete it on my first go (Hard difficulty), and I don't think that the result is ever in any doubt if the player finds the janissaries. The triggered method is not necessary, the player can mine through the stone by tasking villagers to trees after mining.
Creativity: 3
I have never seen 400 villagers attacking a castle before. I probably will never see anything as ludicrous again on AOKH. However, the map was too short to have any other creative input.
Map Design: 3
Many areas of the map were simply blank road terrain, which was a shame as it limited the visual value of the scenario. However, the wooded section was varied and intelligently designed.
Story/Instructions: 4
The history is included on the download page, automatically raising this to a 4. The instructions given are clear and adequate.
Additional Comments:
This is a worthwhile time-killer if you want to try out something new. however, if you prefer a scenario to last an hour or more, this is not for you.
