this was a blow out. dont expect many large battles because michi games are usally lop sided. i did terrible for one, the other team completly demolished us before we were ready for war. i build a soso army but it didnt hold up againstead there's so we lost.
The reason you are so far behind your teammates and opponents is because you do not boom properly. Half of winning at Michi is the first 30 mins of the game, the "boom" period. Get your boom straightened out so that when your enemy cuts on you around 30-32 mins you're waiting and ready. Or better yet, if you are a cut-civ, then you break through sub-32. Michi is about booming, momentum, and a sustainable economy. If your economy is in shambles, then your enemy has all the advantages and will quickly wear you down and overpower you.
Some very basics:
1) You should mill and eat eat your deer (4 vills one deer at a time).
2) You should lure and eat your boars. Bring them right to your TC. Using one villie, shoot boar twice then run back to the TC. Have other group of vills (4-5) kill boar and eat.
3) You should place a lumber camp near the forest instead of wasting time while your vills run back and forth to your TC.
4) When you do finally reach castle, you should plan ahead so that you have enough resources to place 2-3 additional TCs immediately AND have enough food stockpiled to start cranking out vills. You boom in castle with a single TC. That will never, ever do.
