Role Playing Strategy |
For many years, the small village of Donli secluded themselves from every other town, making their community the most peaceful village in the country. However, when two scouts come and stay, the village starts sensing fear. They called themselves the Huffies. What did they want? Where did they come from? Several days later, they left the quiet town, sucking them dry like a leech. Many days passed. Suddenly, dark clouds shift over the village. The whole entire Huffy army approaches the town. A battle had just begun. But what do you expect? Obviously, the Huffies murdered Donli!
But one man escapes just in time...
In this campaign, you play as the man who escaped, whose name is Turty. This campaign takes place after this part.
This campaign features:
-A great map design!
-Eye-candy!
-A great battle!
-Side quests!

Thank you Lord Basse and Jatayu for those reviews. But I still am not changing the name "Huffies". Anyway, I have updated the file with some of your ideas. I didn't try to copy your Sven's Quest,or try to make parallels between them. That stuff was coincidental. But I guess I did use that campaign more as a role model than anything else.
Anyway, some more comments from anonymous downloaders or the community would be appreciated. |

I wouldn't advice you to change the name - it's your scenario, so you decide. I just dont think it sounds like a barbaric army. |

Maybe change the guy named Bob to something else. That sounds too modern. Maybe Bruce. I don't know! |

Could someone leave a comment on the music and the new sidequest, and if the campaign is at the right difficulty.
"the name Huffies doesn't directly make me think of a brutal tribe of barbarians, more like a new character in Winnie the Pooh."
"I thought the name 'Huffies' sounded rather unlike a brutal, murdering army ;) but that's just a personal opinion."
"if it had been your intention to portray the Huffies as brutal murderers you failed entirely in that."
According to some of the reviews, I am going to change the name 'Huffies' to something else (this could be done easily if they were given a leader) if I make a sequal.
Now if only Dantares IV could have said something bad about the name 'Huffies'. :)
And I know this will come up:
"But I still am not changing the name "Huffies"."
When I say that, I mean in this game.
We all love criticism a lot! ;) |

I don't like the name either, but I saw no point of mentioning it in the review. But yes, I found it rather 'kiddish' sounding. ;) No offense!

Now I'm lost...No gang or army would change their name unless they lost and had to surrender. Do you expect England to change their name to Banland? If you get my allusion. ;) |

Although a very small map, it is designed very good. I must reload since I got defeated by the Huffies, lots of Hussars and Huskarls (Hermis was killed by them). But I am sure I can win if I play better. The scenario is interesting. I Will continue to play it again. |

I never played anything past the second update. Should I play again, or does it not make a difference? :{ |
