It is 1098. The crusaders are poised to strike at Antioch. A second force establishes a base on Cyprus. You must Take the towns of Antioch, Acre, Jaffa, and Jerusalem and build a castle in each location (next to the red flag). You must build all four castles to be victorious. If the castles are not built and your forces are annihilated, the Muslims are victorious.
NOTE: It is rumored that the Byzantine Emperor is negotiating a peace with the Caliph of Antioch. If you breakdown the gates of this city, its castle and most of the garrison will join your cause. However, you will surely have to fight your way into Acre, Jaffa, and Jerusalem.
I played this one part scenario on hard and had no trouble in reaching the objectives. It was interesting enough to keep me playing.
This was a build and destroy scenario with a big advantage going to your side. You had a secure base to operate out of and absolute control of the seas. Not to mention 5 heros.
This scenario was weak on creativity. It would have been better if the opposition would have utilized a navy.
Although a desert map is the hardest to make look appealing, this map was o.k.,use of elevation and more eye candy could have helped alot.
The story was weak, but had adaquate instructions and hints.
In closing i would recommend downloading this scenario.
