This scenario is for one, two, or three players, who can select the first, second, and third player slots. It is set in a Yucatan jungle. Its pretty cool, there are some nice triggers in it. When you are at the setup screen, be sure to set victory conditions to conquest and Lock teams. The object of the scenario is to breach a large city and kill one of The Smoking - Jaguar, Rabbit, Eagle - before the other tribes do. Its fun with other people.
You start off with quite a big city. You don't have to research a lot of stuff before you can attack. It puts up the race you have against the clock. However, I don't know if this map is well playable with bots.
All three basic players start with enough resources and all have a fair chance of winning this scenario.
Very nice map made. It's kind of a standard game, but with triggers and a goal. The mix of conquest and race makes it quite nice. The several units/buildings you could discover are nice.
Map Design: 4
This map is really nice. No square things or overdone stuff, except for the fish in the sea in the north-west. I like the paths and some details about the cities. Also the surroundings fit to the theme.
You could have written more instructions about what civilizations are best, like the Aztec and Mayan in this scenario. I missed the settings for this map, that's a bit of a shame. The storyline you've written however is quite nice, instead of just doing an objective, while not knowing why.
When you have crushed the other two players, it's not that hard to defeat the final unit. I have only tried the scenario with one other human player, so I don't know if there's balance between the battle events.
Well done with the map! Maybe you could also create a more co operative map for three players with a fierce opponent. It would be nice if you'd stick to the same theme and map design like this.
