Part I

Thank you for looking at my Scenerio. I want to thank everyone who entered there players into Palm -and those who were patient when it was in progress.- Everyone who participated from the boards are in the Victory. I had to modify some avatars -I had a 200 trigger limit before major crashes happened, so I had to delete some- my sincerest apologizes for this and my computer. I hope you enjoy my game, you need Renaissance installed to play this file.

You start out as Zen a retired general of North Arb which is one of the two cities that are in the desert. you must fight back the Harach an old enemy of the peaceful merchent Arb cities. The history will explain more on the subject of the three seiges.

Once again, thanks for looking.

-----If you find anything wrong please post it in the blacksmith, and I will get it fixed at once.

Also this will be Part 1 from a trilogy. I will post Part 2 on the webboard when I have the free time to start doing it.

There's something wrong, my computer doesn't recognize it as a valid cpx.

I tried to extract is as a scenario but got an error.
John Mendl I played this for some minutes and fought off the bandits. Instructions need to be better, you need to mention that by 'bandits' you meant the red player. While walking I got killed by some Red Heavy Camel and Light Cavalry (I am only a villager). This happened because Harch (RED player) changed stance to enemy at the start of the game. If they had stayed neutral, they wouldn't have attacked the villager. If you want to keep computer's stances from changing in the game, either you need a custom AI or you just need to loop a 'change diplomacy' trigger.

I have another quetion. Did you forget to include certain Custom AIs while you converted the scenario to campaign in the campaign editor? If you don't have your Custom AI and PER files in the AI folder while you convert the scenario in the campaign editor, the AI will be eliminated from the CPX file. Right now the game AIs show the standard AI behaviour (changing diplomacy etc).

However the game looks pretty good, I will continue playing it.

@Sword_of_STORM, this is a Mac file, I updated this submission which was originally over 1.2MB including the complete submission of Renaissance with the 'AoKTS Compatibility Addon', 'DEMO Campaign', 'Renaissance Read Me' and 'empires2_x1_p1' .DAT file. In the update, I zipped the .CPX file only.

@IT 000, for a better feedback update with a .SCX file. For the game, I walked up, received extra units, destroyed red's trade post, next I received a supply boat and when walking down to the fields I received I got no further objective. I quit game to look at the triggers but I could not extract the scenario. I posted a thread in the SD forum, "How to extract scenarios from a Mac .CPX file?" and received no answer so far.

Your supposed to bring the supply boat(Demolition Ship) Down into the bay of the Farm Development

Harach switched it's diplomacy? I can't use an AI For it (MAC), and if I loop a trigger won't it say Harach switches diplomatic status to Ally for all eternity? So my solution for that is to restart the game.
John Mendl IT000, No the message will come only once.
