This is a game that I play with my two friends.
We played from afternoon to night.
All of us were tired.
I first beginning, use the wood wall method to remove the tree of enemies near their homes.
We destroyed The Huns and the Teltons with cowboys, the Mongolia was almost breathless.
At this time, we built a gate wall to make the enemies not to come in.
After collecting sufficient resource, we started preparing navy.
However, the enemy's ship team came when we have only 9 ships.
They did not shoot my fortress, so we deleted the wharf that they were shooting.
Supported a period of time again, we found that the enemies came in from the right side
Actually, the forest of the middle of the gate wall was fallen.
Hence we again trained more soldiers, think a way to go to the leak and finish the complete gate wall. After the explosion, it became easier.
For the most part I like this game. I like the way you use the conquistadors at the beginning of the game to take out a couple of enemies and then build gates to keep the rest away from your base for a while. From there on it becomes easier for you...
There are a few things I also didn't like so much like you advancing your economy too slowly, using those conqs in excess and spending too much time in defense after the initial attacks. It becomes boring after a while... If I were you I would have built a big navy earlier and whipe out the rest of the enemies at sea, possibly using the great spanish ellite cannon galleons - which you use but too late in the game I think - you have lots of gold and wood doing nothing for quite some time in the game.
Of course you chose mediteranean map and spanish civ which both play to your advantage - not sure your tactics would work with other settings like Green Arabia, not to mention Arabia.
