Version: The Conquerors
Style: Fixed Force
this map is yet another of my fixed force maps.

this time your control a raggid band of british army troops on the brink of been massicared.

this map is set in the desert in a small outpost.

histroy: this map is "made up" but british and american forces have been known to dfend them selves in great time of need heroicly.

during world war 2 the british africa core aka the "desert rats" provailed aganst the germans nick named the "desert fox".

really this map could be based on whewn the british exspaditionary force defend them selves aganst the advancing desert fox.

The map design could certainly do with some more elevation, but overall another fairly fun piece of work. Still, for me it was far too easy to defend; gameplay merely a matter of shooting the enemy who does not bother to enter the fort. Perhaps adding in twists to the battle by having enemy cavalry charges, bombs being dropped over the fort and killing men (killing macaws and or hawks to convey the explosions) and other things such as manganols (acting as tanks) assault en masse and more scorpions to back the infantry up. Remember the Desert Fox's tactics of the 'Lightning Strike'; sending in masse tank formations before mopping up with infantry, all in one usually decisive overwhelming attack against a weak point of the defence.

NickBarry Just 2 things:
The Afrika Corps belonged to the Germans, not the British.
The British expeditionary force was the army that fought in on the France-Belgium border in the beginning of the war, before Africa.

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but that's how I remember it, and wikipedia confirmed it.

Hambone2010 Mediocre game:poor instructions and very short and uneventful. Not horrible but not great average.
Godentine "The Afrika Corps belonged to the Germans, not the British."

While this is true, he specified the 'Desert Rats' which was indeed a British outfit. Poor wording somewhat skewed the meaning I think the author was trying to convey.
