Ottoman Empire's Battles and Conquests is a 5 scenario campaign featuring some historical battles that the ottomans fought.
Playability: 3
I particulally didnt enjoy this campaign. The scenarios were buggy, and some of the bugs encountred could be easily solved if the creator had at least playtested it once. For example, some maps had the "protect the unit" objective, but even if that unit died, you wouldnt lose for there are absolutely no triggers at all. Also, in scenario 4 (a naval battle) you are given resources to build more ships but you cant because you dont have housing and dont have villagers to build houses. In scenario 3 there was also some transport ships of the green player that just didnt move, so my bombard towers sunk them all (add some triggers that make the green player unload the units some were), there was also lag in scenario 3 because of that huge amont of units (maybe it's my crap pc), so try to give less units to player 1 and if needed creat them after some time with triggers. But scenario 1, 2 and 5 were quite fun, specially 2 because you have to face many enemies at once and have to have at least some strategy.
Balance: 2
For scenario 1, 2 and 5, as I think there were no custom AI's made for anh of the 5 maps, you will have to face the AI's that comes with the game, so if you have ever played aa normal random maps against AI's on hard, moderete or standard difficulty you should know what your facing, and as you beggin all scenarios in the post-imperial age it also makes thinks easier. Now for scenario 3 you have to destroy a city with some troops you are given from the start. No villagers so you cant build more troops. Did I say some troops? I mean lots, lots and lots of troops making thinks just to easy even on hard. And finnaly, scenario 4 , it is just impossible to win. It is only a naval battle, you start with some ships, while your enemy starts with a huge navy outnumbering you more then 3 to one (and you cant build more shipd becouse you dont have housing). Also somethink that could have been fixed by playtesting.
Creativity: 3
Although you dont begen any scenario with 3 villagers and a town center, your objective is to conquer everythink. Having the enymy with much more units in the beggining also added to game play because you would have to face a huge initial attack.
Map Design: 2
Much of the maps here looked like random, but why didnt I give it a 3? Well because there were 2 that were almost blank maps with only the basic you need to build troops. Also it seems also that some os the maps I mentioned that looked random the author made some changes... unfortunatly for the worst because those areas looked more blank then if left how it was. The almost blanck map that I mentioned had some cliffs and narrow passages that also added to game play. Maybe creating another player with the imobile units AI just to guard those cliffs and passages would be a good idea because I certanly would have some treuble getting through those narrow passages if there were archers firing at me from both sides of the cliffs.
Story/Instructions: 2
No story and there were instructions only on some maps. But you actually can figure out what to do... yes that's it. Destroy everythink in your path.
Additional Comments: I recommend that the author get ideas from others campaign and get a trigger guide. Believe me it really helps. Altohugh I dont recomend downloading this campaigne but look foward in seeing better works from the designer.

Playability: 3
The campaign was B&D all throughout and became dull and boring.
All of the maps it was you trying to destroy the other players, sometimes you didn't have enough resources/it was very unbalanced.
Balance: 2
As I sai with Playability, the teams were very one sided and most of the time the enemy had the advantage.
Creativity: 2
The map design was very bland, and I don't think the campaign had many triggers, if any triggers in it.
Map Design: 3
Most maps were Random generated maps, with little changes the author has added, this made the game very dull.
Story/Instructions: 2
Most of the time there were hardly any instructions, no history and no hints.

Try making a map without just customizing a randommap... However I'll add you at msn, in case you need any help. |

The campaign of the Ottoman Turks is good but in the scenario that must be defeated Constantinople contains many, many troops.
The naval battle scene is ... bad, because we have a small fleet of ships, but your enemies are more and we can not build more houses for more ships.
And the Shah is the title of the kings of Persia, and the title of "Kings" in Turkey is the Sultan.
