Please keep in mind that this is my first *real* program that I've written. It's not the fastest program, but it should run fast enough. If it seems to not be responding, give it a few minutes. Some things (saving mostly) make it seem unresponsive. This is normal and is no cause for alarm. If you get any unknown errors or have any questions, please post them in the Advanced Genie Editor thread (link provided above). I may not answer right away, but you should get an answer in a few days. It may take time for me to find the answer to your question.
The current version uses the loading cursor now, as well as saying whats going on in the status area (bottom left part of the window). |

Umm... pardon my ignorance, but is something supposed to happen besides an error message when I try to run the AGE.exe executable? |

I too have a problem! Last sunday, I installed Age of Empires (I) Gold Edition; When I wrote the route to the game and saved, nothing happened. These Aoe and AoE: RoR radio buttons didn't unlock! Should I "reintall" AGE or not??[Edited on 03/05/08 @ 02:15 PM]

I downloaded and ran the exe file but it just came up with the old `Send Error Report` or `Dont send` window which forced me to close - any ideas how I can fix this?

AGE works fine with Age of Kings. I have The Conquerors in same folder (where it should be), but AGE says "AoK:TC Not Installed" when I click that thing. empires2_x1.dat can open in AGE but it NOT seems same as empires2.dat. You sayed that AGE should work with AoK:TC dat files, but it seems that it is not working... yet
What is going wrong? |

You need to have the c patch installed. |

I think that you should make your program usable like GeniEd2, which not require any installation, just open the file and edit it. That's it. |
