Well, I hope this trick hasn't already been discovered, but here goes:
I found you could make a nice, raised-looking 3D bridge that seems to have a rocky pillar in the centre. No real trigger tricks involved, just a nice map-design thing. To see how it works, just delete the bridge sections. I think this would be appropriate for any Osgiliath scenarios. Enjoy!
P.S. Sorry about not having some sort of tutorial, I may implement one in the future. |

Hey,
it's a good idea, creative, and it's totally different to the other 3D brigde article posted in TsunamiStudios I think :)
I'll try to post a review this weekend...

This 3D bridge is actually the best designed bridge I know, and would fit in very much landscapes. It looks good, it's easy to create and without triggers. In one word: "Perfect!". Its the perfect bridge design! Download it now!

USEFULNESS: This is eye-candy; it is useful for designers who look at the map design.
NOVELTY: Amazing =) I never saw a 3D bridge with a pillar before. :)
QUALITY: Good Work! The idea for making it 3D did work, so, this is a nice piece of work!
INSTRUCTIONS: Next time you make something, make sure there are instructions inside the scenario itself, to avoid confusion.[Edited on 05/17/08 @ 08:59 AM]

3D bridge is a utility that shows a neat map trick. Bridge top and bottom ends are arranged in such a way along with cliffs, that it looks 3 dimensional.
Rating: 4.5
Usefulness/Novelty: Very original and creative! It is easily the best bridge and can be used in any kind of scenario. It is a functional bridge and can be passed.
Quality/Instructions: It really does look 3D, and even better with the cantilever style of arches. The cliffs on each side increase the illusion of height.
There are no instructions in game, except to inform you that you can lift up the bridge piece to see how it is done in the description.
Suggestions: no suggestions, it is perfect!
Additional Comments:
With all kinds of data files and trigger studio being used to create 'special effects', it is heartening to see a simple new map design trick which is so effective. Kudos to the author.[Edited on 05/17/08 @ 09:55 AM]

Tres beautiful bridge(deck), it is tres realiste, but I turn out damage that boat cannot pass below, it is necessary to say that it is hard. |
