.: Medivia :.
As you stop on the road to help a fellow with an engine-problem in his car, he knocks you unconcious. When you wake up, you're in a different world... or are you?
If you ever wondered why ADOC, A Dream of Conquest, suddenly stopped in progress, this is your answer. Apart for the mini-scenarios and competition entries I've created, this is what I've been working on for over a year, all in secret. Several hours of work every day, late nights up designing has resulted in this, massive scenario.
FEATURES:
• A grand RPG with a total of 16 different ending
• 13 jobs to choose from, everyone gives you different status and accessability in the cities
• For those who care, slightly more than 4 000 triggers
• Decent map design, all of the map is accessible for exploration
• In depth story that changes depending on what choises you make
• Great interactivity; you can make choises in almost every situation
• Relatively small file-size
Oh, Lord. This, Basse, just very well may be your par excellance of designing! The map design breathes oxygen into bored brain cells; everything is very nicely detailed - Mashek
Credits and all are in the aftermaths of the scenario.

See? Turns out my prediction was accurate. And as I state before, I won't be surprised if it achieves the ultimate five stars. ;)
Very well done, Basse! Expect a storm of downloads coming your way. |

Sounds like an interesting piece of work. Unfortunately my computer blew up while downloading the enormous file. |

Midnight has long since passed and so we are now in the dawn on April 2nd. By the time this is accepted I expect (and hope) that everyone knows this is exactly what it is. Nevertheless, it deserves a review.
Playability: 4
Medivia was a lot of fun, and there were no bugs. However, I do not feel I can award a top score for such a short scenario with no real playable elements. In addition, the best part of the scenario is lost if you weren't here on a particular date. All the same, it is more fun than average, but taken as what it is rather than an epic campaign.
Balance: 5
In effect this is a playable cut-scene, and the author intended no fighting. Quite a waste of four thousand triggers you might think, but still a 5.
Creativity: 5
Great, quite apart from the joke there is creativity here enough to guarantee a 5. On an extremely small map you meet a number of designers, including yours truly.
Map Design: 4+
The map design was perfectly adequate, however there was nothing particularly brilliant and so it is not realistic to expect such a small map to get top marks.
Story/Instructions: 4
The main aspect of this scenario holds up well, and the beginning story is well-written. There are no serious issues with grammar or spelling.
Additional Comments: Excellent on the release date, and pretty good any other time. My favourite of the author's works to date.

Thanks for the review Julius :)
I'm glad you liked the scenario, Jorgito. It seems to have had the intended impact on people. Well, most people at least ;) |
