.: Medivia :.
As you stop on the road to help a fellow with an engine-problem in his car, he knocks you unconcious. When you wake up, you're in a different world... or are you?
If you ever wondered why ADOC, A Dream of Conquest, suddenly stopped in progress, this is your answer. Apart for the mini-scenarios and competition entries I've created, this is what I've been working on for over a year, all in secret. Several hours of work every day, late nights up designing has resulted in this, massive scenario.
FEATURES:
• A grand RPG with a total of 16 different ending
• 13 jobs to choose from, everyone gives you different status and accessability in the cities
• For those who care, slightly more than 4 000 triggers
• Decent map design, all of the map is accessible for exploration
• In depth story that changes depending on what choises you make
• Great interactivity; you can make choises in almost every situation
• Relatively small file-size
Oh, Lord. This, Basse, just very well may be your par excellance of designing! The map design breathes oxygen into bored brain cells; everything is very nicely detailed - Mashek
Credits and all are in the aftermaths of the scenario.

"Never judge a book by its cover". The phrase appears to the best words that could describe this one campaign. There were so many magnificent features, but in fact, only three of them turned out to be true. The map is decent-looking and a hundred percent accessible, the file-size is relatively small, and you can really make a choice in the situation: Play the game, or hit the quit button away from the very beginning.
Playability: 3+
The joke might done its part brilliantly, but as a result, the playability of the campaign suffers greatly. All you have to do is control the "Basse" unit, clicking at a bunch of cameos from a particular design team, who are living in a fictional village with a few buildings around. Each person will say some hilarious talks, based on the author's knowledge of that individual's personality in real life. And that's it. If the author did put some more interesting stuffs, the playability could've been better, and it could make up for the player's disappointment. I give this a 3.
Balance: 5
The author never intended a single battle to ensue throughout the whole campaign. Basically, it just require you to do some clicking, and then leave the game when you're done. Similar to an interactive cut-scene. According to the tutorial a 5 is given.
Creativity: 5
Basically, it's just a mere joke in the first of April, which has been a tradition in AoKH for quite a while. You open the campaign page, see the description, and then your eyes go sparkling with astonishment as your mouth drools and your fingers get all itchy. You just can't resist the urge to start playing the campaign after you feast your eyes on its features revealed by the author, unaware of its relevance with the submission date. The result is quite tremendous. Even I was fooled completely with ease. On another note, gameplay-wise, it's actually quite creative. I give this five stars.
Map Design: 4+
The map is mini-sized, and a hundred percent accessible. The village of Medivia is situated somewhere in a quiet forest, where the inhabitants live together work on their projects peacefully, or hunt some wild animals. The entirety of the map was well executed, with trees, a few buildings, village paths, and some plants sitting around. You can see a description when you click on buildings or garrison inside the tower. The map is flawless, no single tile was left blank, but it's really just one decent map overall which lacks something special. I give this a strong 4.
Story/Instructions: 5-
Despite being a game which doesn't have a story that flows as you progress, the history included in the file was really top notch in my opinion. The story was made up nicely, and can be a big help in convincing players to believe that it's truly one amazing piece of work. In addition, every character's personality was portrayed nicely, through some witty dialogues that they say when you click on them. There are a few hints, but more is not a necessity. A 5 for this, I must say.
Additional Comments:
Looks overly promising from the outside, and then once you see what's inside, you might either find it funny and entertaining, or take the joke so seriously and become annoyed because you feel that the author's purpose was just to deceive your eyes. Well, it's April fool, folks. What can you expect?[Edited on 04/19/08 @ 07:45 PM]

First of all, this is a very successful April Fools Joke. I liked it, though
I was a bit disappointed, I didn't look at the Date, and thought it was a
real giant project :)
Playability: 4
I had much fun in this scenario. There were no lags or bugs, the music
didn't cracked or started while the other one was still playing, so it was
funny. However, if you don't play this on 01.04., this won't be really funny. I played it on 01.04, so it was really funny, and a good April Fools joke =)
Balance: 5
There was no fighting in this scenario and according to the tutorial, it rates 5.
Creativity: 5+
Haha... What do you expect? I have never seen such a joke :) Very amusing, and it deserves a 5+ A Good joke, you also meet people who are member from the SD I guess it was :) (My memory is overloaded...) It was original, I and hope to see more of these kinds :)
Map Design: 5
I personally liked the map design... A long time I've been looking for a perfect feudal village, small, but it has everything it needs to make it
realistic, and it made sure I was feeling like the guy you control. This was very good! Elevation, different underground, buildings and trees were all placed perfectly :) Eye candy wasn't overloaded, and only placed when necessary.
Story/Instructions: 4
I don't really know what to write here... I expected just a bit more :)
The history was good, but in-game it was just a bit to less...
Additional Comments:
A very good April Fools Joke! I hope to see more form you, Lord Basse!
