Med journal entry 105: It all started 3 days ago at the local power plant, some of the workers were taken ill, after a day of examination they started eating my fellow co-workers, some of us fled to a local church where we barricaded the outside, we have few weapons and and over half of us are looking for survivors, I hope the army arrives soon, I don't know how long we can last...
Med journal entry 106: There is a loud sound outside we investigate only to see the zombies, some of our men are trapped outside with not many weapons, I must pick up my gun and fight, this is my Last stand...

For years the Talonians have been at war with the Massilians, for years they have been in a stalemate, niether side being able to make headway. That is, until a plot by the Talonians to kill the king of Massilia is succesfull. Without a leader the Massilians have been on the loosing side of the battle, thier cities razed, soldiers killed.
This is a prologue for my upcomming campaign The Last Stand II. I hope you enjoy. |

This was a great Mini-Game. I dont know if this is something like an example for the mini-game comp. or what, but it is fun!
Reccomended Download: Definitly!
Playability: 4
Playability is about how much fun you had. I experimented with this game and it was really fun.
The reason this is not a five is because in the beginning, there is not much to do. There are not too many zombies, but it is still nice to watch. Later in the game, there are more and more zombies to fight. That is when you have to focus on which units to attack, and that is when it gets really fun. There are eagle warriors, and jaguar warriors, and scouts, and militia. When they start coming, you want to focus most of your military on the stronger units, so they dont break through your wall. It was fun!
Balance: 3
This scenario was not too dificult. I didnt have to do much, except focus your units on other units. It was not hard in that it was easy to win. :P I dont see how you could loose very easily, because all your units have upgrades and high HP. It wasnt easy, but it wasnt difficult.
Creativity: 4
He has plenty of ideas that he used. One of my favorites was the trap. The first time I played, I wasted it because I wanted to find out what it was. :P The trap was very creative and gave the game a little extra fun. The bang looked great on his map also.
Another creative aspect of the game is the story. It is not much of a story, but it is still pretty creative. You are supposed to hold off the zombies untill your allied army arrives to save you.
Map Design: 5
This map has great eye candy. It has zombies in it, and it looks just like an old sci-fi movie. :P You are fighting all these zombies off in a pretty much dead forest. Most of the trees are leafless, and so it makes it looks spooky. :P
Story/Instructions: 3
Like I said in the creativity part, there is a story, but the instructions are quick and simple. He gives good hints, but the actual instructions were pretty bland.
Additional Comments:
The only things I think you should improve are...
-Your instructions. You should be more detailed. A .bmp might help as well. :)
-Your hints. You need one more thing in the hint section or in the game. You should let the player know what the "trap" does, so they dont waste it since they dont know what it is.
Overall, great game. Not much to improve on. Great download!

Not too bad. The secret trap was more for show, though. And the bombard cannon did more bad than good (Damn thing took down the palisades. |

Yeah, I did. It was easy if you created a chokepoint with the palisades, but like I said, the bombard cannon ruins it. |

An excellent game!
It felt good defending against so many units. The only thing that may have improved the game was a little more choices in how you defend. For example I used stances and formations but neither gave a substantial benefit. Perhaps give a few other options like after x many kills you get a choice of another monk or tower. Also allowing your monks to convert the zombies would have been more fun. Otherwise it was fun to play.[Edited on 06/20/08 @ 11:57 PM]

Not a bad show. However, it could do with chat telling you how much time had passed.
I held my walls until just before the army came. when they did the zombies killed the army lol. But I still one.
It was ok. I think Hunnic judged fairly with his review. |
