THE DOGS OF WAR
||The Conquerors 1.0c
by Night Conqueror
The Beggar's War lasted a full ten years and eight months. During which, it devasted the lands of both Thevia and its sister nation of Trinia. It was an honorless war, where heroes, kings, peaseants and soldiers all fell together. It was in the small village of Maldon, which lay right on the border of Thevia and Trinia, where the conflict finally met its anti-climatic end.
From the Scenario:
"The Dogs of War is a strategic, defensive scenario. This particular scenario takes place during the end of the 10 years war. In it, you will control Lieutenant Pinchley, a decorated Thevian commander and his loyal aide Sergeant Maximilian. Your objective will be to delay the advance of the Dogs of War, a violent band of ex-soldiers, and their commander Colonel Vampa."

I must confess that I haven't completed the whole scenario yet, but what I have played is balanced very well, except that it punishes you severely if you happen to lose engineers or orators early (eg. in the wolf attacks), but it still is a good ride. Good map with enough terrain differences to garner an advantage if exploited properly.
As was said in the review above me, this is probably the most creative use of triggers in a scenario I've ever played, with the scavenging abilities of the engineers and the influence of both the heroes and the orators. with talent like that, I hope you make another scenario like that soon. The game is fully playable from what I've gone through, so no complaints here. A quite interesting story, which flows nicely as you progress through the game.
One of the best scenarios I've ever played, thoroughly enjoying, and I hope you make another, because I'd recommend this to anyone to play.

Another crazy town. I found it to be beyond victory. The troops you get after all the fooling around are butter melting with the hot knife of the enemy.
