MY FIRST CAMPAIGN!!!! Please download it and give me feedback, Even though its my first campaign, it still could be good, even if its bad, let me know that it is bad, any type of feedback is acceptable, a bad comment is better than no cooments at all....

...You are the Viking in this Campaign, you have to make your way through towns and fortrified castle to get to your destination, once there, there will be battles to fight... big ones.... the sound files i got from various campaign..

Moogle Hey now, this isn't a campaign, it's a scenario.

Don't submit one scenario games to the Blacksmith and call it a campaign.

This long debated issue of the AOKH SD Forum is not an issue at all for the AOKH Blacksmith.

Traditionally and Officially the Blacksmith's Campaign section is for .cpn and .cpx file submissions.

The author of this submission is within the Official outlook of the Blacksmith. I do agree that his description would be better served if, the fact of the one scenario was pointed out. However, the author does provide potential players with the appropriate information in the 'number of scenarios' field.

My unofficial suggestion to the author is to update his description.

It is a .cpx file but it has 1 scenerio in it. Sorry for not making it clear.

Yes, and so as not to make your player comments a policy page for the Blacksmith, I have played a bit of your one scenario campaign. Forgive me, as my schedule did not permit me to go further than I did in your scenario. I played for 30 minutes on moderate.

I only made it to the blue position in the Forrest, but the opening battle was a lot of fun for me. Finding the cart with explosives was also an interesting element. I was not sure where or when I should use it, so I hope to get back and find out. I was put off by the lack of clear objectives and none appearing in the Objective Box. Great Opening Battle.

I didn't lose yet, so I'm unsure of what balance is there. The opening battle and the rasing of the red position were thought by me to be easy. Still they seemed to go quickly and were fun because of it. Looking ahead I have no idea where to find an alternate path to the coast, and I'm not sure if I can take blue position with the remaining units I have. This is where some hints would have been good.

Superb use of sound! I too used some of Marko's 100 Years War sounds in my first scenario. This was the most outstanding feature of your scenario, and it worked well to enhance the Opening and the battle. I also thought the use of same color for the enemy was very creative. It added to the mayhem, making the battle realistic for me. I wonder if anyone else would appreciate this feature though?

The map design is very good so far, and the battle field was fantastic. The use of path and ruins set the mood as kill or be killed. Some other small touches, like the rugs strewn every where in the red village, and being revealed as the town is destroyed was great use of eye-candy. As I destroyed each building there was a sense of pillage also...nice touch!

The Instructions and Story is where this scenario failed me the most. Other than the objective that appeared as a message and three other messages. I had no idea what I was to do. Even where I quit at blue castle, I was wondering what alternative path if any, I was to take. There was no story and it seemed to not have one unfolding in play either. Nothing to keep me interested, and nothing to make me identify with my own units really. Just units to control seemed not enough, and aside from my busy schedule, allowed me to quit the game after 30 minutes without much regret. Your in game messages where good, and perhaps would have seemed even better if they were supported by Story, Hints, and Instructions for the game objectives.

Again, I am sorry I was unable to complete your scenario, but I hope my comments are viewed as constructive feedback for your scenario design goals.

Thanx for the feedback, I really appreciate it. It didn't really have much story to it but to conquer the place and set up docks so you can continue. Im not really good at telling story so i lack in that department. Hints: Once you get past the Froton's (Blue) you'll get reinforcement. The Explosive can be used at the froton's gate to blast through it.
