The Conquerors 1.0c |
I made this city for a multilayer scenario I was doing where players had to defend it against one another, however I didn't see the harm in submitting it to the blacksmith for other people to draw inspiration from and maybe even use for their own single player scenario! Please view the labelled map by clicking below and see all the different features of this huge city!
Oh, and don't comment saying "you wouldn't get that sort of fish in southern america" or "mayans didn't have horses" because I'm submitting this as a utility for anybody to use and if you don't like a certain part of it... Just delete it! Have fun!
Thanks |

This is the most detailed city!
May I use it for a Singleplayer, I'm trying to make a campaign that I'm gonna try to knock the AOK:H's Mix Campaign's onto the floor! |

duck21, with Map Copy, load the scenario to the Map Editor, click Terrain, Map Copy, copy the whole map, and go to Paint Mode, Click Menu. Create Scenario, change map size to Giant, move the curser to the map center, click Terrain, Map Copy, click No Change Player and select Player 1, by looking at the mini map make sure the white square centers, no green on the edges and then click. If it crashes, which might happen, download the 255x255-size map from Mini & Mega scenarios by Lord Basse, http://aok.heavengames.com/blacksmith/showfile.php?fileid=8339 Repeat steps from above using the 255x255 map instead of giant but make sure the white square is in the center meaning the green on the edges is even on all sides. The reason why it might crash with a giant map is the elevation in the northwest corner with a building over the edge of the map.
Edit: Cliffs and trees rotate with map copy. Most cliffs will be invisible by rotation but you can still see their positions on the mini map. Redo the cliffs it only takes some minutes while the trees are a real pain. Move them rotate them, it will take time. [Edited on 02/08/09 @ 08:40 PM]

anyone used this for anything yet? If somebody could find the weird bug that sometimes makes the game crash it would be awesome! |
