Mehemt II and his Turlish army have besieged the great Byzantine city of Constantinople. the empire has crumbled and the city is their last hope. the Turks are launching an offensive against the cities well protected walls. it's your job to rally your troops and drive back all the Turks from the disintegarted Byzantine Empire.
some liberties have been taken with the history, and should you win, history will be rewritten.
Nice setting and idea! But didn´t prove much of a challenge. I sat back and watched the enemy and my ally have a few skirmisches, didnn't need the army in the north nor was the protection of the city a problem! Suggest spicing it with a few triggers, for example when Mehmet dies! But I love the idea of the byzantine rebels and powerful Venice, Constantantinople was also quite smart with all the guards standing at the gates! Good job!

Playability: 3 This game does have some enjoyable elements but others can be not so much fun such as after you destroy the Sultans beginning attack, thats about it unless you decide to attack the island across the map.
Balance: 2 Compared to the large city you have and the fairly sized army you have at the start this scenario is a walk in the park. Your other enemies have very small bases and your ally has quite the big place as well.
Creativity: 3 You made a good hearted effort to try to make this interesting but it did fail in some points as with Venice being there and you also said you had Genoa but it wasnt clear who that was. The Byzantine rebels guarding the bridge crossings were also interesting as your army across the river had to get through them first so you wouldn't have a full strength army.
Map Design: 2 I am not positive about this map. The Constantinople immitation while not true to the real thing; does look fairly nice. There could have been a better effort to add more eye candy, better enemy strongholds. For example: the Sultans camp was a simple palisade with a sloppy arrngment of pavilions inside a real Crusade era camp would have been clusters and rows, you need to rearrange this area.
Story/Instructions: 3 The story are really where this is better. This is historically based but to someone who dosent know much on the matter might have a hard time understanding the story of this. The instructions were clear and simple as well. They were accompanied by good hints and scouts but it was still average.
Additional Comments: A Fun scenario but the author should put more work into the elements that make it balanced in all categories.
