One soldier is given the task of training a militia to try to defend a single village. Even this small task seems hopeless, especially in the hands of a ragged band of citizen soldiers, but the king\'s military underestimates the will of desperate men.
The tide is about to be turned.
Currently only contains the first scenario, a bit of a cliffhanger (That is, if you actually care about the story). This is just to find what I should improve, both in this scenario and later ones in the campaign.
I haven\'t spent much time at this website, so if any part of this too closely resembles somebody else\'s idea, it is accidental, and I\'d be happy to remove this.

This was a pretty good scenario, nice and entertaining.
Playability: As I said above, it was entertaining, although some parts (like the training) were a bit slow. The final battle was pretty fun, but it didn't really go along with 'The Horde'. I would say, give the player a bigger army and the horde a bigger army, then it would go with the title a bit more. Since it did keep me going but had no especially exciting parts, I'd say it's barely a 4.
Balance: Balance was the weak point in the scenario. The beginning was slow and insanely easy, since you only battled 2 light cavalry. The battle for the hill wasn't a battle... it was a few arrow shots. But then the battle for the flag wasn't bad, because your ram could easily be destroyed when some hidden enemy units came at you. But your hint about rushing it was pointless, because anybody who's played William Wallace and at least one moderate map knows how to hit-and-run. I'd say this is just a 3.
Creativity: Most of the game wasn't that creative, with only 2 major players: yourself and The Horde. Rewen and the other army never did anything. This by itself would have to be just a 3, but since the training idea was something I've never seen before and pretty cool, that bumps it up to a 4.
Map Design: Overall, the map wasn't that interesting. It wasn't a random map (which I usually give a 2) but was slightly designed, so it mostly deserves a 3. But the swamp was so good and realistic that I'd say this deserves a 4.
Story/Instructions: Well I can't say much here, but the instructions were very specific, with pretty good (although sometimes obvious) hints. The thing that made this a 4 was the story, which was there, but was pretty lacking. This could have been improved by making the History section longer or, even better, adding another scenario or two. This gets a 4.
Overall, this was an entertaining campaign, but would've been much better if it was longer. Release some more scenarios and I'll play it knowing it'll be fun.
