Breath of Fire was great fun to play for this Sunday Player. Fantastic theme too! I played for hours and enjoyed every minute. I enjoyed the PDF document too as it definitely added to the quality, but no in-game instructions is lame. I'm not sure what the thinking was there (I imagine coming down to the wire for the contest deadline was a part of it), but alt-tabbing to read instructions detracted from the experience.
I also wanted to get to know my enemy better statistically, or even a general description -- that is all the message alerts for the different waves seemed the same. I also suggest naming the selectable palisades for good measure. We seem to share the same sentiments when it comes to complex games, and I thought there was just enough to think about in BoF. The replay value might seem a default feature of this type of mini-game, but excellent job keeping frustration to a minimum with the difficulty choices. So far I've managed victory on Standard and Moderate. However I was unsure what difficulty level to select at the begining (pre-game) so I selected Moderate and went forward from there. I suggest revisiting that with a recommendation in your pre-game PDF. Anyway, good luck in the contest!

I loved this scenario. The safety of my villagers was sweet! Converting guys was fun. I am making my own defend the spot. I want to post it here soon. It is almost done so I guess it will be up shortly. Good job on this one, man.
