Dark Reality This campaign made me blink at first.
"What the..." called the little voices in my head.

All in all, this supposedly 5 scenario campaign (in reality, there are only 2. After completing the second one, there was no 3rd one that popped up), consists of... dun dun dun... you. And you. And you.

Throughout the 2 scenarios, there are no enemies. It is, in essence, a campaign that "teaches" you how to create 12 villagers and garrison them in your town center, and how to advance to the next age. Even then, there were no instructions, apart from these. No tips as to how to get these 12 villagers, or what is necessary to advance.

There were no bugs. None. You didn't even lose when Kushluk died (which had to be done manually, as there was no one around to defeat him). The lack of enemies, triggers, and plain playing fun gives this a...

No enemies. There was, quite literally, nothing to balance. You won, unless you purposely lost, in which case you most likely deserve to lose :-)

This is self-explanatory. there was no creativity necessary. It was a learning campaign, that did no teaching.

Step 1: Click "create scenario".
Step 2: Click the "player" tag, and set option: "1 player"
Step 3: Click the "map" tag
Step 4: Create random map.

You see what I'm getting at? In complete neutrality, there was no map design done by the designer. They were 2 "Migration" random maps. But the second one DID have a torch and 4 shipwrecks in the middle of the land around your town center... *claps at realistic eye candy*

The Story presented in the first scenario's objective screen did absolutely nothing for the scenario. They had nothing to do with one another, except for the fact that Kushluk came up in both. The instructions, for a learning campaign, could have at LEAST been more specific as to HOW to do the things he asked for.

overall: People, play the William Wallave Learning Campaign. It's better, teaches more, and doesn't require you to download anything.

I meant no disrespect in this review, it is simply my sarcastic way of reviewing things that the designer obviously had no intention of getting good reviews for. AOK, you can do better than this, I know that. Anyone can. It`s not that difficult.

MrQuestionMan hey AOK you have a lot of good ideas but why don't you make one loooong campaign instead of a lot of short ones? Also, you might want to look for some cool trigger tips because these scns lack that.
Night Paladin I agree you should make bigger ones.
Aryangirl I started playing this compaign okay i agree on the first two they didn't make any sence but the third was okay only the fourth is were i get stuk the whole place is surrounded by threes and you have to kill the purple army, forgot there name well i thought i'dd killed them but then when you use your treb you see allot further in the woods and find out that in the top of the map there is an open field with some enemies and when you kill one an other one comes but they stopped comming and there is no way trough that forest and got bored with searching so killed the other tribes.

So that was the end of my game, i saved it but there was really no way out for me. Care to explain?

Downloads: 1606 and no one corrected Dark Reality that there are "in reality" 5 scenarios, and from scenario 3 on, it includes fighting and challenge. When the next scenario does not load, the memory is full. The game engine remembers every scenario, campaign, saved game you played under a player name. To fix, from Single Player click 'Options' and select a new player name. The next scenario will load dun dun dun... Another option is to open the campaign with the Campaign to Scenario Manager and count to 5 instead of becoming sarcastic. :p

If stuck in the fourth scenario, hint, trebuchets cut through forests, and save often while cutting through the forest, Jean de Lorrain loves to destroy your trebuchet and you got only one.
