Before I write this review, I need you to know that I'm being complelty impartial and I'm following all the guidelines for reviewing. Consider this some kind of feedback. If you feel your score was too low, please read articles about map design and get better. Play some high rated custom campaigns to see what is considered GOOD. Now, the review :
Playability: 2
The campaign consists on three scenarios with the same goal: Attacking the enemy into surrender. Even though random maps against the AI are sometimes fun, it gets tiring quickly because all scenarios are the same thing in different maps.
Balance: 4
As balanced as a random map game can be. There was a catch, tho. In the first scenario, the enemies had either insane amount of starting units, or an insane amount of starting resources, and in the other ones everyone pretty much has some units so I can say it's balanced .
Creativity: 1
It's nothing personal, don't take this to the heart, but there was a total lack of creativity. All three scenaros had the same goals, all three were random generated maps without any kind of modification from the designer and there was obviously no trigger, trick or anything else but a plain old RM game against the AI. I'm sure you're capable of more than this man, put some effort into it. Good campaigns dont take a few minutes to make, they take months.
Map Design: 3
There was no eyecandy at all. The most you could get was a bridge made with bridge ends and a city on the first scenario, but he didnt have anything ugly on the maps. Since they were random maps without many(if any at all) modifications, I have to give you a three. If you dont know what eyecandy is or what to do, check the tutorials or ask for help.
Story/Instructions: 1
You promised history but there was not any history of any kind. You said the campaign is about balcan colonization and yet, I'm playing with Bizantines, I have a squad of Berserkers and I have both Erik the Red and Hrolf(really?)
At the end of every scenario, the most you said was "Victory!!" so there wasnt much there. There was not many instructions either. Just tear the opponents until they resign.
Additional Comments:
So, really, you can do way better. You need to learn how to use triggers, how to design a map, how to tell a story and how to be creative with the objectives. Learn all of that and do the comunity and yourself a favour: Release a good campaign.
Everyone started somewhere, keep your head up.
