There is one problem:
Designers usually want to design towns/villages by themselves because they are most interesting parts.

This product was designed for those of us who are too lazy to do that.

Like Powery said a lot of the thrill in designing comes from creating towns they imagined. As a utility this is not very useful. About the same amount of time, and probably a greater effort, would be required to modify the map to the designer's needs as it would for creating from scratch. There is no brilliant use of eye candy or a new idea for designers in this map. What I mean is it does not offer anything for designers, and most designers actually enjoy designing and making towns (which is why they are designers in the first place). You should try offering something that will be useful for all designers, not just those who are sick of making towns.

I looked over your map a couple of times, and I think you have a good start on a potential cut scene. I would encourage you to add triggers and finish it.
I'm also curious about something you put in the Readme.doc file:
"Designed by jordanthejq12 (who should be foruming, but after TheLaughingMule's victory in the Cutscene Contest...)"

I definitely am considering additional work on this. I'm still new at this business, though, and perhaps a group of people will produce a better product than one mere rookie.

I have one major complaint: palm trees in France? C'mon....
