I'm not quite sure the point of this campaign, I could only play one scenario out of the supposed 5, but from the first one, I could tell I wasn't going to enjoy it very much. This 'campaign' was not well thought out, and it was obvious, while a little effort was put into it, not much thought was put in. It's just a grass map, with your enemies base to the far left, your base to the far right, and an allies base to the top. For some reason, your units were placed in different places of the map, far away from the mosque you are to destroy to win.
Obvious not a lot of thought was put into this map, it had very little creativity, the thing I liked most in the map was the small area in the center of the map, where your allies and enemies ships are sitting idle, don't know what the point of it was however.
Map Design: 1
The map was very displeasing to the eye. There were giant patches of nothing but grass, except for where bases were built over. The map was large, and your units were far from the enemy base, so you had to sit there and wait while your units made it across the large expanse of land, very boring. Overall, the map was pretty much a grass map with buildings, not creative.
The only instruction given was to 'destroy the mosque' and I did have a little trouble figuring out at first where exactly that was because the mosque, and your enemies base was not explored, so I did use the marco polo cheat, and found out where it was that way, had I not, I probably would have spent much time looking through all the empty spaces in the map looking for it.
Overall I give this a 1, because not much time or effort or thought was put into this, and it wasn't much fun to play.
