Well, I am really bad in English, so I don't know what to say but I will give you some content in my scenario. Ship is walking on the ice, you can walk through the gate without opened it but not always :)
To be honest after scrutinizing the map with marco polo i couldnt find out how to play. Theres no indication any good gameplay is on the horizon, and indeed you are made to sit for nearly 3 minutes waiting for a scout to arrive.
Its either too hard for being unwinnable, or too easy as theres no risk of losing. Perhaps tedious is the best word, for i see no other way forward than breaking down walls\gates with the players starting units. You get attacked by a swarm of ornlu wolves at one point, any one of which can beat your hero 1v1. The hundreds of enemy paladins will surely die easily at some point if there is a battle anyway
Many LOTR games have been made around helms deep, etc, in both singleplayer and multiplayer. This one looked similar to many other existing maps and didnt even incorporate the basic ideas and concepts into it.
Map Design 1
There was no eyecandy work in the playable area and the entire design was entirely minimalistic, and quite inferior to a random map. Infact the entire world is nearly completely blank, flat land.
Its the same LOTR story, except this scenario doesnt deliver a story itself, if you had never read\watched\played the materiel in some other format it doesnt tell you anything. The objectives are not clear, your left to scout on your own, but the map is so nondescript there are no points of interest to investigate.
Final thoughts. Nearly 3000 downloads simply gained on the strength of the LOTR name. Not worth downloading.
