Decent, it wasn't the type of puzzles I was expecting.
Some are actually trial n error type of things.
The 5 tile combo thing was actually a puzzle, but you gave too little clues and so it is too annoying to actually complete it.

Yeah it is kinda hard. But that is why you have an option whether or not to do it. What did you think of the "rock, paper, scissors" or did you not get that far?

This short Puzzle Scenario by Jecon is designed to test your abilities as and AOK player. You play as a random guy who is lead by the narrator and has to get past a number of puzzles to survive.
I really enjoyed Puzzles. It is a fun and interesting scenario which really test your AOK abilities. You must really put your thinking caps on to get through some of these puzzles. For others it is just trial and error, which means if you save before you try and you get it wrong you can just go back and try the other way. Puzzles is a fun scenario but gets a bit frustrating when you struggle with a puzzle. It is also a scenario you can’t really play again because you know how to do al of the puzzles.
Some of the puzzles were easy and more for fun, others were harder and force you to think. I liked most of the puzzles and some of them were neat and cool, but it could've been made a little harder since I had no real trouble with any of them. Also there were no instructions with them so at some points you didn’t know what to do.
The scenario is quite creative. There are some nice and interesting puzzles which really test your abilities. The puzzles are really creative and interesting. I like the narrator who is trying to kill you by tricking you in the puzzles. The scenario has a good story and some great trigger tricks, but the map design is not as good. There is little eye-candy and there are also no instructions. I also like the idea on not being able to go in the snow.
Map Design: 3
The scenario’s score falls a bit with the map design. It is quite good but it doesn’t have much terrain mixing or eye-candy. Most of the map is flat and there aren’t many cliffs. All of the forests are done in clumps, not mixed together. None of them are placed individually either. There is lots of snow around the map. Which you aren’t allowed to step in. There are some GAIA objects which improve the map design a little bit. Try to add some terrain mixing, maybe some cliffs and elevation too.
There wasn’t really a story. You were some random guy trying to travel through the map completing puzzles whilst being lead by some sort of narrator guy. There is no background information. Who was this random guy? Why does the narrator want him dead? Who is the narrator The Instructions weren’t any better. They didn’t change once in the game. They didn’t tell us what to do or how to do it. The narrator didn’t give us many clues and what he did tell us wasn’t written down n the objectives page. There was a Hints page but it wasn’t helpful.
All things considered, this is a good scenario, and worth the download. I would suggest giving the scenario a better map design, some better instructions and a story. I have hopes that this can become a great scenario with a few changes. It is fun and enjoyable but hard to follow as there is not story or instructions.
