A lot of people hate it, but from what I've played, I liked it. It offers a lot of options for character customization without being stuck in a single class. Never got into serious playing though because of the factor all MMORPG's require that I don't have: time.

I don't really care that much for Runescape. The game never really attached on to me.
its a popular game
It used to be a popular game in my area, unfortunately. We never played it again.

I play it. I like how it doesn't restrict you to being a warrior or mage specifically, but lets you switch.

Haha, I used to have 80 woodcutting and 85 smithing. My combat level was 55. =D

I never liked non-combat skills. I have combat level 61 with 55 magic.

As much as it pains me, I support epic. Just play NWN, and you'll never have to use the crapiness of Runescape again.
NWN? Never Winter Nights? I heard that game was horrible. Maybe I'm thinking of Something else.
I do agree runescape doesn't have the best graphics, or the best quests, or the best fighting system, but it is the most player friendly mmorpg there is. And it's the least expensive. (Except for maybe Guild Wars since you only pay one time, but the game actually ends so, it's not quite the best) Other mmorpgs are more for hardcore gamer types. Which is not me. I have more important things to do...
Sooooo....
IMO: Runescape is good.
(Though some of the recent updates put it in a less favorable position with a lot of people)

You've just lost all respect I might have had for you.
That one made me laugh. I've been here for five months how could I have any respect? Besides, what I said is true. World of Warcraft is EVIL and, what other good mmos are there? (that don't require you to buy any software and are cheap and play in your browser)

It'd be the best day evar when they release a Kotor with multi support. Ownage.
We've all tried view source and then finding the post we want to edit in the code and then take screenshots of our alterations to annoy certain forumers from time to time.
Wrong. That's not what I did. If you look at the URL you'll see I didn't save it then change it. I did something much simpler.

I found the trouble with that game was nothing to do with the actual game; it was the other players. Then they implemented the ability to turn chat off and it got a lot better.
I like how you do completly monotomous tasks over and over. I especially like it when you meet clones.
Who watches the Watchmen? Still Cristian, proud of it, etc... "You are an important piece of my puzzle..." Impaled Saren, executed Illidan, bludgeoned Big Daddy, and exploded Gravemind. What now? Repent! Xenu is coming! Or so Tom Cruise would have you believe. Boom. Headshot. Yes, I play FPS's.

IMO: Runescape sucks.
Back it up. Tell the people *why* you think it sucks. Example: "I think Kittens suck because they're so smug, self-involved and evil."
You've just lost all respect I might have had for you.
I'm pretty sure if you lose respect over such stupid things, there's no need to try and earn your respect, huh?

It's called grinding, a common feature in MMORPG's. Keep in mind that they're all a time-sinks - you can't complain about that, all games are. I beat Gannon at the end of Zelda, and I get treated to a cut-scene. After that? Nothing; you play again if it was fun, or you stop playing.
For the cloning thing: You've never played a game with limited graphics before?
» Your attractive master. »"Because I before E is a LIE!!!"
kotor of the Old Republic Online. O_O I'd definitly play that.
Agreed.
Back to topic. I got for 12 darn hours and everyone one goes crazy :|
you play a game for fun, not winning. Anyhow I never really do anything cept Quests, And I get called "noob" for that. Ha.

Hehe, time-sinks: that's a great word for them Aro couldn't have been more elegant in the second post...that's my answer too, although I have been immensely lenient on my drowning my time lately in them (if that makes any, at least, allegorical sense). I can tell you this one of my least productive Winter Breaks ever.
