So yeah, I haven't posted in months, mainly due to graduating college with a degree in History, along with being commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the Air Force, and going to Alabama for initial induction and finally ending up on the west coast, where I'm currently in training for missile ops. As such, I haven't really had a chance to come here (all that and playing WoW too).

First off, I turned 24 last week, which means I'm older than most of you. Second, my 6th anniversary of signing up on this forum was last month. (obligatory OMG I MISSED IT!!!!1 (those who know, know))

Six years. When I was in my 3rd year here and seeing people posting their 5th+ anniversary threads, I never thought I'd be here that long and that I'd've forgotten about this place by that time, but here I am, posting once again on the first Internet forum I ever signed up for. I guess once you come here, you never truly leave.

Then again, I haven't played AoK in years; those few who knew me back in the day probably remember why. But I kept coming here because it was a fun place with some great people, not to mention we could actually do forum events (ok, the AoKH/AoMH forum war was maybe a little much, but we're better than them anyway) and get away with [most]of them. Hell, for all the stunts I pulled/was part of, I'm still amazed I never even received a warning. I guess it's just something that comes with greatness, being seemingly immune to the banstick

One other reason I slacked on posting would have to do with practically all the forumers I knew were gone (except Aro and CC, they just won't go away!), and none of the new forumers could really fill the voids they left. Hats off to zyx, Kelar/lawngnome, hobo, Freako, DM, Adder, penguin, Ray, SS, MW, and the other forumers who made my AoKH experience fun. I miss you guys

But yeah, I don't wanna drag this on, so post ends. Maybe I'll post more here, put some smarta** n00bs who think they can match my magnitude of awesome in their place

I was thinking earlier today about how a lot of the older forumers were coming back...

This thread is starting to smell funny.

"Especially awe-inspiring is the fact that any single brain is made up of atoms that were forged in the hearts of countless stars billions of years ago... These atoms now form a conglomerate – your brain – that can not only ponder the very stars that gave it birth but can also think about its own ability to think and wonder about its own ability to wonder. With the arrival of humans…the universe has suddenly become conscious of itself. This, truly, is the greatest mystery of all." - Rama

Now, now, be nice to the noobs. After all some do turn into oldies eventually.

yep it looks funny, some oldies speaking about their golden age and the old good times.
That makes people get nostalgic and isn't good.

At least I wasn't here so I can't be nostalgic about aoe2.

That is because you actually are very young, Cilib.
