New Year's eve is not fun anymore. Some idiot likes to shoot off illegal fireworks (which freaks out the animals.) So we will be home (sober) giving drugs to our horses and standing guard out in the cold hoping none of them get hurt (and hoping the dogs and cats don't break anything in the house when they freak out.) We have no police in our village, so people do anything they want.

I will be going to my friend's place for a party. It's routine and his big brother always gets us (mostly 14-17 year olds) plenty of alcoholic drinks! Yes I drink underage, but it's no harm once a year I guess. Besides almost everyone drinks on that day.
By the way, January 1 isn't just New Year's Day, it's also International Hangover Day.

I think I will be at home with my family and some people they invited.

With the way the lights are flickering, we may be spending new year's in the dark (major winter storm hitting us.)
I hope you kids have designated drivers and be safe at your parties. (sheesh I sound like my mother!)
