The only part that has to be dry is the hard drive
I linked to one a few posts back. And if you're using SSDs, then there will be absolutely not problem to put those in the oilbath
Edit: I accidentally a word

Bump.
I'm sort of interested in the new Surface Pro. The power of an ultrabook or a laptop, but the comforts of a tablet. Apparently the battery is only good for 4-5 hours, which is really low. But otherwise, seems pretty slick.
Hard to justify the price tag though. Seems like tablet tech is about 6 months to a year from being really viable.

You can't compare it to other tablets, since it has x86 performance. And it's not fair to compare it to laptops either, since it's smaller and weaker. If you want to be able to run Windows 8 but still have the tab feeling, then it's your best shot. However, if you just want something to fool around with, then a cheaper tablet should be fine.

Surface Pro is x86 with Windows 8

The surface pro is interesting because it's A)Full Windows OS, B) has the juice to run real programs like Photoshop, and C) has a digitizer pen with 1024 levels of pressure sensitivity.
Getting all 3 in any device at this point for under a grand is basically impossible otherwise.

It's a bit pricey though. If the battery was like 8 hours, or if it was 700 instead of 900, I'd be all over it. As it is, I'm ...thinking.

Wait 3 months then scout out. The market is changing almost overnight. It's not the right time to judge.
